RYA Yachtmaster Coastal
RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Motor
Join us in Gibraltar for our 3-week RYA Yachtmaster Coastal motor course & exam. You will spend 2 weeks mile building before having a skills & drills preparation week prior to taking your exam.
Pre-course experience / requirements
Our Yachtmaster Coastal course would benefit that you have completed your Yachtmaster Theory Course before arriving at our training centre so that we can focus on the practical side of your training and maximise our time with you. It's essential that you have completed 30 days at sea covering 800 miles and skippered for at least 2 days and 12 night hours.
It is with great pleasure that we can confirm Fuel, Marinas, Accommodation aboard, light meals at sea, Breakfast, Lunch, snacks, and drinks. Course notes & materials are alsoincluded on our RYA Yachtmaster Coastal course.
*Exam fees are not included in our course fee.
Candidates will be trained and then tested to demonstrate knowledge & competence in the following;
International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, Safety, Boat Handling, General Seamanship including maintenance, responsibilities of a Skipper, Navigation, Meteorology & Signals.
What to bring?
Sailors are exposed to the elements and must always be prepared for the unexpected. Due to limited storage on board, we always recommend you bring lightweight clothing to suit all possible weather scenarios.
